We’re looking to find the sweet spot, here at Cordilleran Tours, between very short tours meant to meet the needs of guests with almost no biking experience and those targeted at seasoned cyclists for whom the word “century” doesn’t mean years. And we love nothing more than creating tour packages to do what we do on our own holidays: explore this beautiful region in which we live on our bikes.
Our custom bike tours can range from fully-supported, one-day tours of 15-20 miles to several-day tours with lighter support, on- or off-road. Our pricing includes rental of bicycles, basic touring bags, helmets, and a one-time bike fitting for each guest, as well as transport of your bicycles, and riders if needed, from Portland, Oregon to and from the start and end of your tour. Fully supported tours will include vegetarian snacks, lunches, and coffee and tea, in addition to a guide riding along with you — with an option, schedule permitting, for support from our mechanic as well.
If some of your group members are not strong cyclists, we’d love to help put together a mixed-activity itinerary. Hiking, wine tasting, museums, or thrift store shopping are only a few of the possibilities.
Pricing starts at $750 per day for up to four people, with the support of one guide, for tours within 100 miles of Portland. Areas of specialty include the Columbia River Gorge, both Oregon and Washington sides; Willamette Valley wineries; the Oregon and Washington Coast; Central Oregon and the Deschutes River; the San Juan Islands; and Eastern Washington, but our network of bike touring aficionados stretches throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho, so we’re happy to research the ideal ride for you.
Unsupported tours start at $300 per person.
